Co-ops & Internships

When it comes to getting your feet wet in the business world, there are a few options at Michigan. A “co-op” (short for Cooperative Education Program) is a two-semester immersion within a company for an in-depth professional experience. Internships are shorter experiences often taking place in the spring/summer for students to explore professional practice and industry culture.

It’s never too early for a Michigan Engineer to explore their professional opportunities, and internships and co-ops found through the Engineering Career Resource Center (ECRC) can allow companies to meet you as a professional while offering you the chance to see the “inside” culture of a company.
